The Finnish Saturday School in the East Midlands
We are also in Facebook:

Welcome to the Finnish Saturday School in the East Midlands!

The school is open to anyone interested in the Finnish language and culture. We meet up in the Robjohn Hall in Narborough, less than 10 miles south of Leicester, every other Saturday during term time. Come and visit us on any school day!

The purpose of the East Midlands Saturday School is to advance education in the Finnish language and culture. The classes are aimed at children whose parent or parents are of Finnish descent. In addition, we will also continue to teach adults during the school year 2011/2012.

All Finns, their families and friends of Finland of all ages are welcome to the school, either to participate in the classes or just to pop in for a chat and a cup
of Finnish coffee and cakes.

Welcome to our renewed web pages. We thank Lyyti and Riikka, two media practicants from Jyväskylä, for their work in October. We wish you "Onnellista uutta vuotta". We started the spring term on January 14, 2012. You can come and see us then or any other school day. See School Dates, School, Learning Finnish and News for further information.
